A comprehensive selection process admits only experienced coaches who develop an individual learning plan and then work in a co-directed learning group which is both demanding and highly supportive. The Academy has a systemic approach to coach training paying attention to how the organization shapes the executive and the coaching relationship. The Master Executive Coach Model is based on the integration of the Coach’s Skillbase, the Coach’s Self Identity, the Coaching Relationship and the Client System Coaching and is strongly underpinned with Business Strategy and Psychological Theories (e.g. Gestalt, Developmental, TA and Cognitive-Behavioural). The training is practitioner-based with interactive seminars, observation, extensive skill-practice with peers and executives, group facilitation, supervision, guided readings, peer support and individual coaching and tutorials.
