My Approach to Coaching
“ I passionately believe that coaching is one of the most effective ways to help people make significant transitions in thinking, attitude and behaviour. Providing structured space and time to think in today’s pressured business environment is one of the most valuable aspects of the coaching process.
Whether it’s helping a Director to create a vision and strategy for their organisation or a young manager to develop confidence I find coaching incredibly satisfying and energising – I never stop learning from those I coach. My goal is always to motivate the person to formulate and implement an action plan that helps them reach their hidden potential – not only in their career but in all areas of their life.”
Trained and Certified in use of MSCEIT (Emotional Intelligence Ability test) Fellow of The Institute of Leadership and Management
Delivery of Exciting leadership and management programme for over 45 leaders (over 5 programmes) with a coaching focus - some group learning workshops, however, the most beneficial part of the programme for the participants is usually the coaching - six 90 minute sessions over a 6 month period with the option of continuing beyond the formal programme (many do)

A personal development coaching programme for approximately 15 team leaders and managers to help support the rapid growth of this business. The participants had at least three sessions of a minimum of one-hour through to around 12 sessions over a 4 year period.

External Mentoring for around 20 high potential managers in a clothing manufacturing company as part of a management development programme. Included development of personal development portfolio to support and help them manage their own learning and development.

I have provided executive coaching to around 150 managers over the last 12 years. Some people have had the coaching as part of a development programme, others have been recommended to use me to support a change in career, to support their transition into a new role or to help with the step up from operational management to strategic leadership. i am also a volunteer business mentor for The Prince's Trust
